End Channel Welders from Weld Systems Integrators for the economical production of hollow metal doors and frames. WSI standard and custom resistance welders are the perfect solutions for steel door manufacturers making 20 – or 200 – or 2000+ doors and frames per day. End channels provide a seal for the top and bottom of the door. Common end channel configurations include:
- Standard, inverted steel channels
- Flush steel channels
- Flush and sealed steel channels
End Channel Welders from WSI feature a single 120 kVA rated transformer and six (6) reciprocating-type weld guns on 4″ centers that reach inside the end channel. This welder is capable of welding end channels on both narrow and wide doors. Long-life CCNB alloy weld dies minimize marking on exterior surface. Multi transformer versions are available for the higher volume shop as well as wider units.
