TECNA 9520AX Tool Balancers
The TECNA 9520AX ATEX-Rated tool balancer is an explosion-resistant / zero-gravity balancer, suitable for use in environments having potentially explosive atmospheres for GAS and DUST. TECNA zero-gravity technology provides nearly weightless tool operation for 26.46 – 44.09 lbs. (12 – 20 kg.) loads and a stroke length of 106.30 in. (2700 mm).

TECNA balancers make tools nearly weightless, reducing operator fatigue and improving safety and ergonomics. As the tool is repositioned the stainless steel cable extends and retracts smoothly from the aluminum housing, providing a full range of motion. Tension adjustment is easy and precise.

OPTION .F: Brake device. Friction/brake which controls the rotation speed of the drum. This option is feasible when placing a new order while it is not possible to assemble this device on balancers already installed.
Balancer models 9346LAX – 9350AX are equipped with a stop device allowing to stop the load in intermediate positions of the stroke, about every 3.94 in. (100 mm). The stop device can be activated and deactivated at the operator’s choice.
TECNA recommends OPTIONAL ACCESSORY “RC”: Rotary and insulating device for ATEX-rated zero-gravity balancers.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORY “BC”: Locking-unlocking device with control from the floor.
