The UB29 linear DC micro spot welder from AMADA WELD TECH (formerly Amada Miyachi) provides unsurpassed levels of control for resistance micro welding and thermocompression bonding.

UB29 (500 Amp) and UB29A (1500 Amp) are linear DC controls with four feedback modes designed to adapt to part and process variables. These micro welding machines should be used for smaller applications where closed-loop feedback control and fast response times are required. Safety critical applications such as those found in the medical and automotive markets will benefit from UB29 and UB29A’s precision low energy control.

A successor to model UB25, UB29 and UB29A feature a variety of updates, including greatly improved waveform control and faster rise time, as well as new side-mounted buss bars with threaded inserts for mounting weld cables, simplified rear panel I/O connections, and an on/off switch on the front for increased convenience.

UB29 / UB29A may be used in conjunction with one of our many weld heads as a single operator benchtop unit and is well-suited for integration into semi or fully automated resistance welding systems.
